After a #ECmeetup Lu and I get a lot of messages of congratulations. I swear it can feel like a joint birthday party at times (our birthdays are only five days apart anyway) It would be pretty easy to be outchea feeling ourselves, but we learnt pretty early on that this is not about us.

We can’t be Santa without elves supporting us so here’s a list of our #ECMeetup elves in no particular order…

Firstly to NMBT and The Heraldlive,  we are so honoured to have you support us and have us carry your name. That’s big, that is saying you think we are worthy, and you trust us not to embarrass the two best known names in Nelson Mandela Bay.

Then the venue, Karin from Fairview race course is actually beyond awesome. Thank you so much for the attention to detail, the bending over backwards and the sheer beauty of the event.

Thank you to Annelie from Petronella Fine Dining and Catering for truly Instagram (and tummy) worthy eats. Farren from Cute and Chic I am still heart broken that I missed out on snacks from your immaculate candy table. Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

Then to my cousins (the girls at reception) thank you guys so much for the hard work based on nothing but me guilt tripping you for all the babysitting I did when you were little and a few goodies.
