One thing most people who know me know is that I love giving gifts, it is definitely my love language.
When Luchae and I were packing gift bags for the #ECMeetup I could not contain my excitement, because I got to make packages full of awesome stuff to give to all my blogger buddies.

So the meetup actually happened, I didn’t embarrass myself or Luchae too much (I don’t think), I have new bloggy friends, I FINALLY met people I have been online friends with for AGES and had soooooo much fun…
Thoughts before the #ecmeetup
So tomorrow we will be meeting up and I have a few thoughts on this…
I have a few thoughts on everything and many words, Aidan’s teacher says he is like that (takes after me), always thinking and talking (but not necessarily in that order).

The East Cape part of the #ecmeetup
I’m proudly Nelson Mandela Bay; I live in Uitehage and primarily work in Port Elizabeth and despite opportunities to move elsewhere this is where my heart is.
I fell even more in love with the region recently when Luchae and I decided to host the first bloggers meet up (that we know of) in the Eastern Cape. (NOW SOLD OUT – can hardly believe it)
We tried our luck with sponsors and were pleasantly (extremely ridiculously) pleasantly surprised at all the support we got from our local businesses.

So tickets are being sold, The Boma chefs are working on a menu and goodies have started arriving for the goody-bags…NO TURNING BACK NOW!!!
The 14th of May is going to be the first (hopefully annual) #ecmeetup and we are starting with a bang courtesy of speakers; blogger Megan Kelly Botha (who Luchae chatted to last week) and digital editor Dorette De Swardt.
