Come see Dalin Oliver’s new show with me

Comedian Dalin Oliver is back in town and Rob and I are super ready to make a date night out of it! Anyone want to join us? Not like join us, join us, kind of go on their own respective date night that just happens to be on the same date.  What I am trying to ask is; who wants to win tickets to Dalin Oliver’s Face for Radio show on September 28? (Jip that way sounds less like solicitation)

The last time Dalin Oliver was in town I thought that he was fairly new to the SA comedy scene, fresh from being a “failed teacher” and finding his feet on stage. But quite honestly his talent shone through right from the start. This is when I did some research and found out that between 2011 and 2013 he had been sharing the stage and touring as an opening act with industry stalwarts such as Riaad Moosa, Barry Hilton and Stuart Taylor as well as performing at the Vodacom Funny Festival and Community Road Show.

Dalin Oliver is a Cape Town based comedian who co-hosts Happy Hour, a weekly comedy show on Good Hope FM on Mondays and is also the Sports Presenter on the radio station’s Breakfast show.

The show we saw I Came, I Taught, I Left has been a huge success since its debut, so much so that its final run in 2016 was in the top 30 grossing productions at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival Fringe Festival

The talented comedian is even branching out to the big screen where he played one of the lead roles in his first feature film, Finders Keepers, which is a South African Comedy directed by Maynaard Kraak.

To compliment his big screen debut, he was one of the featured acts at this year’s Jive Cape Town Funny Festival at the Baxter Theatre

From performing to sold out houses at his one man show, to being featured on Comedy Central and recording his first DVD special, Dalin Oliver is fast becoming a familiar face on the South African Comedy scene

So it is no surprise that I want to be at the opening night, right here in Port Elizabeth on Thursday September 28 at the Protea Hotel by Marriott Marine. What makes it even better is that the show is directed by one of my other favourites Stuart Taylor and produced by my friends over at Big Mouth Entertainment.

ALSO!!! You can win two tickets by following the prompts below.

The winner will be announced next week Tuesday to give you time to organize that babysitter (in case you require one)
