I’m all for durable toys, yes Aidan has enough McDonalds toys to start a play franchise, but when it comes to spending my own coin (he buys happy meals with “his own money” ) on things, I look for durability. Especially since Aidan’s toys inevitably become, Caleb’s toys then Liam’s.
When it comes to durable toys one brand has stood out for us: Little Tikes. Read on to see why I think that and which new Little Tikes had joined our collection.
So I have decided to share some Easter events in Port Elizabeth…because I’m just super nice like that.
This is not every single thing that is happening, but they are the ones that piqued my interest (usually it means they emailed me or I was tagged , whaaat, I’m both lazy and helpful it’s a slippery slope) so here goes:
Do you have Easter egg hunts? How do you stop it from becoming a full out “I hate you poopy head” brawl?
If brawl has become your norm, I’ve got some some alternative ideas for hopefully fuss free easter egg hunts. For those who never have issues, kudos…
Dealing with grief in kids is super tricky. My great grandfather passed away recently and it’s been difficult for the boys.
I thought I’d share how we are dealing with grief in kids in terms of everything from breaking the news to including them in traditions.
How do you explain adoption to an adopted child? This is something I’ve often wondered, but never outright asked because #boundaries
I know quite a few families who have adopted and we have seriously considered the option ourselves, and being that I’m a curious sort of person I have pondered how one broaches the subject and also when do you do it?
Aidan really wanted a Minecraft party, which is all good and well until you look around in party shops and realise just how few Minecraft things are available for purchase. Like nothing locally…. Net mooi nix
So I had to put my DIY skills to good use and pull a cubed rabbit out of a hat (minecraft ref)
