I’m starting out my series of Christmas Crafts with a quick tutorial…how to make a monster wallet. Aidan really wants a wallet and since I figure he is going to lose it anyway (I know my kid) I decided to make one…it makes an ideal stocking filler, especially if you put a card/coins from game center in there.

Anyone in the market for a super easy diy laptop/tablet sleeve?
I recently got a new laptop, it’s rather small (I don’t even think it can be called a laptop in all honesty) and can fit in my handbag. I wanted to keep it protected from everything else that can fit in my handbag – loads of things, loads – so I grabbed some felt, vintage buttons and made my own laptop sleeve – yeah me.
Want to make a cute finger puppet? Well a friend of mine, Mechelle, is a wiz with felt, she made Aidan a set of finger puppets for Christmas and he LOVES THEM – It is really so great for imagination play. I posted the picture above on instagram and received requests for a tutorial.
Lucky for me Mechelle found time in between raising three beautiful girls, working and studying to do a quick how to for us… (next I’ll ask her how she makes gummy berry juice because I can’t imagine where else she gets the energy from)
