If ever there was a time to save water, it is NOW. Well, we should have been taking care of our resourses for ever, but the looming drought has me feeling like maybe the plan to  save water! should be pretty high on everyone’s agenda

Not to long ago, I went to a #skiptheflush event. We were introduced to some amazing products which you could use to kill bacteria and eliminate odour when not flushing. Because every time you flush that is liters of water LITERALLY down the drain, fresh usable water.  I have been using the Skip the Flush products and have a review coming up soon , but before that, here are some water saving tips I got from them…some of these are obvious and others are plain genius!

I hate the concept of being fake, I have always loathed it.  No matter what, there was one thing that people could never take away from me, my authenticity. I pride myself on phrases like “Eleanor you are exactly like I expected you to be” or “Eleanor you are always you, no matter what”. But things have changed.

Don’t get me wrong, I still do things with the same motivation, with the same heart, with the same end goal. It’s just that I have been doing a lot of play acting lately and I don’t like it…

I don’t get a blow-dry often. Most natural girls I know, don’t, unless it’s for a very special occasion or for a length check. I honestly prefer myself with curls but I head down to my favourite stylist, Michelle at Stylish Steppers,every now and again to change up my look.

I do it because, they give the best head massages, they get rid of the build up I struggle with, they know if I need a trim and they use premium products and treatments. I have left there with a fro, but yesterday I felt the need to go sleek. Since I don’t blow-dry my hair more than once every few months and am no longer using chemical straighteners I’ve had to learn a few tricks to make the look last…

Foot care products are not exactly rare. There are aisles of the stuff, rough scrubs, gentle scrubs,luxury scrubs, soaps masquerading as scrubs, meanwhile TLC don’t want no scrubs (If you get that you are giving away our age) and we haven’t even started on the lotions yet. A while back Oh So Heavenly sent me some product to try out and I’m finally here with my view on three ranges of foot care products.

It took me a while to formulate this review because I wanted to give each of the foot care products a fair chance… I thought it was interesting how each range had such a different feel to it, from scent to packaging and decided to divide it into my main three “job titles” … Wife, Mom, Boss
