So I have decided to share some Easter events in Port Elizabeth…because I’m just super nice like that.
We won’t be doing much in the realm of Easter festivities this year. At most it will be a hunt at home because it’s my grandfather’s funeral and both my mother and mother in law’s birthdays, I think it’s likely to be a home bound weekend…. So you should totally go out and have fun so we can live vicariously…..

Splash Festival
I would be amiss if I didn’t start with a “Bay institution” , the Splash. A 4-day multi-faceted festival over Easter weekend with loads to offer! Sporting events – National Jetski Races, SA Beach Volleyball, Pro Wrestling, City Surf Pro and newly added Laser Tag! They promise over 30 Food Stalls. Arts and Crafts Stalls. Kiddies Entertainment – magicians, clowns and hypnotists.
Family entertainment – entertainment stages with over 32 local acts and headlining acts – Sdudla NoMa1000, DJ Ganyani and Snotkop.
This year – Splash has introduced two exciting new elements: The Conservation Station and Wine and Food Pairing!
