Unless you are completely new to my blog you will know that I am hella awkward. Which is why hearing that Clorets is calling on SA to help them create a limited edition board game based on life’s awkward moments totally got my attention.

Apparently Clorets, the #1 fresh breath expert, believes that in moments like these (the oh my word I just hugged the wrong person/greeted someone who was not looking at me/ forgot my wallet in the car with the cashier staring at me moments),  we all need a little more confidence and a boost that will make us Breathe Out Proudly, For Longer.

Hasbro toys are a firm favourite around here so when they launched a list of their top toys for the year I wondered which one’s would come up tops with our boys.

I have a quick Afri true curl power comparison for you guys based on it being the styling product of choice for both my mom and I at the moment: while I’m a gel girl my mom goes for the creme.

On Sunday we went for a drive, I had an errand to run in St Francis bay but due to miscommunication we ended up in St Francis Bay for no real reason, that’s when Rob saw the sign for Chocoholix and said, “we are here anyways, why not pop in”

This two ingredient hummus style dip is my contribution to the Nola mayonnaise #createastir challenge.

Nola asked people to use their super popular mayonnaise in out of the box ways and I thought that hummus style dip would be perfect.

I feel compelled to start this post with the words… I am not pretending to be a cancer expert in any way shape or form (you know for the people who can find fault in everything)

I was recently asked to speak at a cancer event because I’m one of a billion people on earth who may not be afflicted by cancer, but they are definitely affected… So I jotted down ways to support a loved one with cancer (or any life threatening illness really) and I thought I’d share it here too.
