What I wore: singing in the rain

Let's start off by saying Rob hates taking pics for me, which sucks not cos he is a super photographer, (cos he's not :p – complains the whole way through and cuts off my head with a digital camera no less) he says it's cos I'm too opinionated which I don't believe even if our wedding photography (Tracy from forgetting neverland) had same feelings *blush*
Anyways it sucks not having him be keen to take pics because outfit posts become really difficult! Here's hoping I can bribe him, chocolate or a coke usually work.

On this rainy day I'm wearing:

– grey bootleg jeans (free2bu at edgars)
-white logo t (it's art mafia, a local design label that doesn't seem to be operating anymore)
-multi coloured scarf (absolute fav)
-grey cardi (cheapo find, very comfy)
-crochet headband(truworths)
-red sneakers (gift from friend)
– beige trench (mr price, but I changed buttons to add a glam effect)
-strawberry shortcake looking umbrella (gift from my boss-i think it's cutest thing, rob says it looks like waterproof undies they put on babies who wear cloth nappies-i don't care, I like)

HAVE A GOOD SATURDAY ALL

Fashion Friday: Colour me

Today’s fashion collage might not be everyone’s cup of tea, not many people have the guts to step outside the box and be a little different so today’s post is for those of you who don’t mind standing out, who love colour and the spirit it inspires. You know, the fabulous among us 😉

Wednesday with Hein even though it’s not Wednesday cos i could not update-flip man!

I missed a day of updating which I hate to do (except on weekends), but my blogger account had other ideas, anywho this is what yesterday would have looked like:

Hein:
Hey there folks out there in the www. Im bored and here are a few
things I have done in situations of boredom.

-try to actually fly on a broom.
-in my mind, audition for idols while in the shower
-create a sock puppet off my foot
-pick a fight with a sock puppet
-get a black eye from fighting with a sock puppet
-create a soapie using office supplies (pens,
stapler, ruler, paperclips…etc) allowing each their own individual
personalities
-count the times TLC say the word ‘scrub’ in No Scrubs…43
-walk around with an umbrella humming Mary Poppins songs
-pee sitting down, no homo!
-look for aliens with binoculars
-eat a variety of spices on dry bread
-hide behind a fat person for as long as I can without getting
caught…half a day till I grew hungry
-make driving noises while actually driving a real car
-blame a dog…for everything
-create my own smiley faces %~, I call it the Picasso smile
-leap frog a frog
-be haunted by a psychotic sock puppet

Remember, never forget…thanx for your time.

Tuesdays are Shoesdays: fab blogger Marianna Boguslavsky

Today I’m featuring one half of the Boguslavsky sisters. The duo blog about fashion and shopping in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and have both agreed to share their shoe secrets 😀
Read on for more on CT based Marianna Boguslavskya and her love of shoes (she’s the one on the right)
1. You are:
Marianna Boguslavsky. Online marketing consultant and owner of MB Consultancy (http://www.mbconsultancy.co.za). Also run a dual city fashion blog with my sister.

2. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
About 20…wish it was way more than that!
3. Why do you think a great pair of shoes has such an effect on women?
The right pair of shoes can make or break any outfit. A stunning/fancy pair of shoes can also be the perfect way to jazz up an outfit…you might be wearing jeans and a casual top but pair it with heels and voila,…you are ready to party! Sexy shoes (especially sexy boots) can be a confidence booster…you look good and you feel great.
4. Which shoe are you still searching for?
I would have to say flat boots…I own an amazing Dorothy Perkins pair of boots that I bought in London but I have not seen another one that i would love here in SA.
5. Which shoe can’t you believe you actually wore
Erm, my spice girls shoes in high school…the shame!!!
6. Fav shoe/style quote

As I’m yet again for the howmanyeth time trying to grow my hair I have started investing in headbands to keep my hair out of my way and my hands away from scissors- It’s soooo hard

This is my latest headband, a mix of two things I’m loving at the moment, headbands and crochet: (looking forward to finding more)

I know this pic gives me a bit of a fivehead but it’s best way to show headband

What I wore:imagine for a moment it was still Saturday

My computer hated me this weekend so lets assume this is Saturday:

Did face painting at church fete today and I’m past exhausted. I’d planned on taking pics to share, but it got so busy I hardly had time to inhale half a hot dog.

With the help of my sister and our brother’s gf we ended up painting more than 60 faces in 2hours, mostly butterflies because every1 wanted to be a butterfly. We had some requests from kids who wanted to be superman or a balloon that had us stumped, but even so it ended up being loads of fun.

What I wore:

– red all stars (a gift from a friend)
– black tights (truworths)
– black dress (birthday gift)
– red jacket
– knitted hat (hair not working with me today)
