What I wore

My phone has been acting up all day so I have not been able to update whole day. Kinda feel like my update should have been a little more exciting, lol.
But since I really did not do much today, my outfit reflects a lazy day at home and a quick breakfast with my brother.

– black shorts (was a bit unsure bout length, but it grew on me)
– logo t (have had it for ages, bought it for a themed party)
– wedges (also have had for ages)
– chanel inspired bag (recent buy, I love love love it)
— just realised I’m head to toe Mr P today, hehe

Fashion Friday

I do not often wear colours, my mom says it comes from my goth nature (she has had her doubts about me since one of my teachers found my poetry book in grade 7 and my mom got called in because of my dark thoughts, meanwhile I just found dying and mutilation rhymed with a lot)
any way I have been trying to embrace colours more and Sal’s newest picture is a great inspiration.

I bet I’m not the only one…

I’m finally out of bed after 20 min of trying wake up and bargaining with myself “You can sleep extra few minutes if you eat breakfast at work”, “You can lay here longer if you can figure out a way to brush your teeth and your hair at the same time”.
I’ve been known to employ other cheats during the day and I bet I’m not the only one who…

– has painted only the toes you can see when wearing peep toes.
– has shaved only the part of the leg you can actually see.
– has perfected the art of putting on make-up on the go.
– puts heels in bag till you reach destination because not everyday is a running on heels kinda day.
– convinced myself that a yogi sip is a balanced meal.
– wet my hair because styling is too much trouble.
– worn a scarf because yet again styling is too much trouble.
– convinced myself that I’m not getting cold so I don’t need a jacket when truth is I’m to lazy to go back for one.
– eaten straight out of the Tupperware because cleaning plates is too much of a shlep.
– only bake the day before cleaning lady comes, again because of dishes.

…. The list goes on, but don’t want you to loose ALL respect for me

Marriage Smarriage

The paper I work for is having a bride and groom competition and I was part of the team interviewing the finalists. Interviewing the couples made me think about my own marriage and I decided to interview my husband and myself, just for fun.
