I thought I’d share some Coronavirus safety tips and precautions with you guys incase you have been toying with the idea of supporting a local hotel.

As a family we have really focused on being Corona safe for the last few months. We’ve been called dramatic and sheeple, but I would litterally rather be safe than sorry. However, when in Level 1, the Boardwalk Hotel invited us to spend a night in one of their luxury rooms I decided to be brave (yet safe) and get out of the darn house.

Lesley-Ann Brandt talks parenting

I got the chance to interview Lesley-Ann Brandt of Lucifer fame for a news feature recently. We had a zoom meeting that started with major butterflies in my tummy and ended with belly laughs (unfortunately this is not the secret to her epic six-pack) and I took the chance to ask her about parenting her ridiculously adorable 3-year-old, Kingston.

I follow Lesley-Anne on Instagram and I noticed some similarities in our parenting style. You know minus the Hollywood mansion and paparazzi dodging. She also believes in mindful parenting and this led me to ask her for five lessons she learned after becoming a mom.

I was lucky enough to join, Tammy Fry, International Marketing Director of The Fry Family Food Co., a certified plant-based nutritionist, creator of The SEED Blog, international spokesperson, animal rights advocate, athlete, and mother, for the online version of her wildly popular “Seed Workshop” and have learned a few things I would like to share.

Tammy Fry chatted about a bunch of things during the workshop, this includes gut health, supplements, and food choices. However, the biggest take away was the simple changes you could do right now to improve your general health and quality of life.

Ways kids can #addgoodness in the community

The Denny Mushrooms #addgoodness #winter warmth campaign, which I spoke about not too long ago has got me thinking about the importance of starting charity work early. I’m not saying your 6-year-old needs to start a NGO , but there are little things they can do which can give them a sense of pride and responsibilty and sets them up for a life of giving back (well hopefully)

I have shared ways that I encourage a charitable heart in my own child with you before, but thought that since the world looks so different now, the list could do with some tweaking. Also, charity is definitely not the only way to #addgoodness so keep that in mind when checking out the list below:
