last day of challenge
So today I have to confess something. . .
I’m pretty open so don’t have deep dark secrets but I can confess that this year has truly been a tough one, so tough I find myself not always recognising “Eleanor” behind all the sadness confusion and decisions that have to be made, I’m overwhelmed right now, that’s my confession I need a nap!
day 9…Emoticons that describe me
Two emoticons that describe me at the moment? that has to be: SAD AND CONFUSED!

Four things that turn me off people, this is a good day to ask me this so here goes:
1. Dumb people – Cant stand people who put ignorance/pregidous on show, saying stupid things that could hurt others just for the sake of saying something
2. Racist people – Seriously there are so many reasons not to like people race should be last on the list, lol
3. People who dress for a different age group or different size, yes Im not perfect I get it wrong too (more than i care to mention) but seriously if you are a 14 dont wear a 8, it does you know favours and lumo tights with colour blocking tops are cute and all not if your 40+ sorry
4. Littering! esp out of cars it makes my blood boil
Day6 : People in my life
I am extremely lucky that I have so many people to count on, I feel blessed every day that I never go without a shoulder to cry on, a warm embrace or a kind word. Sometimes I feel disconnected and lonely but deep down I know I will never be alone because I am surrounded by so much love.
This is what makes today’s task so difficult, how do I chose just 5 people who mean a lot to me, that’s crazy talk!
I’ve decided to go with family, people I am around most so here goes my list (even if it’s a bit of a copout)
1. My husband, Robin Meyers, he is truly the best decision I have ever made, we have our ups and downs and have each wished the other could go on a weekend away…hehehe…but when all said and done, he means the world.
2. My Mom, Angie Douglas, we were not always THAT tight, but with time I’m proud to say she is probably one of my best friends we talk about every thing, deep serious conversations about spirituality and life and then conversations about who looks better in a wrap dress, I’m extremely blessed to have her in my life …
3. My Dad, Allan Douglas, We fight LOTS AND LOTS but we love each other, we have a very special bond. The best thing about my Dad (especially now that I’m older) is that he is never to “big” to say sorry if he did something wrong, he taught me about being humble and has always treated me with respect even when I was just a little girl, I know that is something I will always treasure.
4. My little sister, Anthea, She is substantially younger, 9 years to be exact but she’s always been wise beyond her years and is this great combination of ballsy go-getter and vulnerability, never know whether to protect her or just follow her lead.
5. My brother, Allister, We don’t always click, seriously, sometimes I cant believe we come from the same gene pool, but no matter what, I know he always has my back and he knows I always have his, there is great comfort in that…
