So it’s JANUARY and this is what is happening in Eleanor land. . .
HOUSE WISE:
We are getting renovations done and I’m so excited by it, maybe that whole nesting thing people are always talking about is true, but I’m just so excited about bringing baby into a newly done up place 🙂
Since we practically live in a cottage there is not much to do, and we not going over board because we plan on buying a place in about two years (currently renting from my parents) but the renovations are sure to make a difference – lucky for us the landlord is paying for most of the changes and all it’ll cost us is a little increase in rent 🙂
* We redoing bathroom because the bathroom is currently so small you feel like you can take a shower while sitting on the toilet and brushing your teeth at the wash basin. okay maybe not THAT small but it’s really cramped and we need more space!
* The room we are planning on using for the baby room is currently like an en suite office space. We use it to store stuff (I’m such a hoarder) but because we have an actual purpose with it now, it needs a coat of paint, a door and basically to be separated from our room. Can’t wait to have it all spruced up so we can start looking at cribs and other baby room paraphernalia
* We moving the cupboards in our room too, to give “jnr” some more space (It’ll make sense in the picas) so that will be fun, a new look in our bedroom. YEAH ME!
* We are also looking into re-covering the kitchen cupboards and getting a new little work surface and repainting whole place:)
CANT WAIT!!!
WITH THE HUBBY:
Robin is leaving again on Monday, some more police training, so we will be separated for just over two months. THAT’S SUCKINESS!!!
WORK LIFE:
I’m back at work and things seem to be less stressful, maybe it has something to do with me being a tad less frazzled, nah prob just cos not every1 is back yet. It occurs to me that I only have four more “full months” at work before I’m off for maternity leave!!! Time flies WOW
I have a new passion I’m dying to pursue, Toddler photo shoots, no not those things in the malls with long lines of crying kids trying to get a picture with Santa or the Easter bunny, I’m talking about a little business where I take natural pictures of little children playing and hanging out. Roping a few mini models into helping me get a basic portfolio done, will show pics when I’m done.
