I had one of those weekends when you do so much and yet so little it kinda passes in a flash, I had my phone with me though so I was able to capture some memories:

– It was our church’s bazaar this weekend, I usually do face-painting (have for over 6 years) but this year I was just not up for it, too emotionally drained maybe, hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things next year. I got to spend time with my God daughter Zoey (15month) and my “niece” Taylor though 🙂

– I went to a very close friend’s baby shower after. Danelle and I were due a week apart and shared everything on the journey, we teased that its like we were each carrying one of a set of twins so attending her shower, knowing there’s no more Logan, was a bitter sweet experience, it’s a strange feeling to be both extremely happy for someone else and sad for yourself at the same time. I had a blast though, its amazing what you can achieve when u remind yourself, “its not about you, true friendship trumps uncomfortability”. Can’t wait for little Hananiah

– That eve I went out for wine and live entertainment, but not before “the hostess with the mostest” Salama made us some super yum snacks at their place-so this weekend was basically,”diet? What diet”. Oh it turns out, NO ALCOHOL FOR ELLE anymore. After the wine my inflammation situation flared up back to stage 1 and the meds were working so well 🙁 but hey, at least I know now.

-Sunday, I did some shopping with Rob, wanted jeans (ones that actually fit!!!) But I’m not prepared to wear old lady pants so I’m waiting for diet and exercise to work before I get new jeans and settled for 2 tops. I also “helped” my sister study, don’t know if I did anything except help keep her awake,hehe
