This weekend, I went to a fun kiddies party, then stayed to help clean up, then went to a Rocker Billy themed birthday party with some good friends and woke up on Sunday morning to go out for a picnic lunch with my husband.

NO I DID’NT

That was the plan, but it ended up with me waking up on Saturday morning looking like I was four months pregnant (yes I often exaggerate, but you can ask any of my family members-I LOOKED BAD!) I was bloated so much nothing fit me, and the clothes that did fit, actually hurt because it was just that tight.
I knew that the new meds the doctor has me on (I’m on this seven day intense thing to try and rectify what the last set of meds messed up) would have side effects, I just didn’t know I would end up looking like a beer loving middle aged man with a thing for rugby.

I went to the kiddies party though because I felt ok, just looked odd. It was a big Spongebob SquarePants’  party and had the works, bubble machine, jumping castle and loads of food, the kiddies (including Taylor) were in HEAVEN.

The party was for my buddy, Hein’s son (yes, that, Hein) Riley. Riley is just the cutest little thing, such a pity I couldn’t stay long, I had a snack actually I had loads of snacks, but one of the snacks got into an argument with my already moody tummy and I was forced to go home early, I felt and looked so awful, so I left and couldn’t go to the rocker Billy party for Karen that evening 🙁  even though I had the cutest outfit picked out 🙁

But hey I’m feeling better today and I’m hoping against hope that when I go to the doctor for my check-up later this week, everything will be ok, seriously not liking the being sick thing, it’s sooooo last year.

So this is more or less what I got up to this weekend, I’m leaving out working and snacking on the couch in the hopes of looking less like a dweeb.

Had breakfast with Rob on Saturday, it was really chilly this weekend so sitting by the fire at Saffron with and espresso was just what I needed

Had a bit of a family night Saturday evening. Rob and I went out with my brother, his gf and my sister(above) and her bf – It started with us (Rob and I) getting badly beaten at pool. According to my brother I’m sooo bad at pool he was convinced I was just acting to scam them, I was not 🙁

We went to the game centre next to see who could get the most tokens. – My sister and her bf, Saeed (above) beat us all, I still think they cheated

My brother and his girlfriend, Lesronique (above) were a close second, Rob and I are not the competitive type *blush* Rob did put up the highest score on a bunch of shooting games though and is dying to get my brother (winner of everything sporty) on a paint ball field

We did bowling too and my bro won (he is annoying like that)

Sunday we went for dessert with our good friend Revinia (we are God parents to her little one,Zoey)

I had half brownie and half a slice of cheese cake and had the waiter look at me like I had asked for the whole cake and a shovel, some people I tell you.

So what did you get up to this weekend? I had a bit of a random time, girls night, high tea, soccer, church, lunch out and movies, this is some of the highlights:

We watched Man U Barca game on Saturday and we played some playstation and foozeball as a build up I got my ass kicked 🙁
