Heritage day inspired DIY t-shirt print :)

As I’m sure you guys know by now I will use ANY  excuse to craft something….
And Heritage day  has given me a perfect excuse to experiment with “t-shirt stencilling”.
Yes, it should be more South Africa than Africa, but this is the picture I had people! also the heart kinda points at South Africa so I got it covered…Oh and as a coloured person I have heritage from all over anyways, hehe…
Here is how to make your own African t-shirt, it’s so easy you will kick yourself!

1. You need fabric paint, a picture, contact plastic, a t-shirt, a sponge and scissors
2. stick the picture on the contact plastic and cut out (this creates a sticky stencil)
3. Cut out a little heart for the inside of the picture… stick down the stencils you have made
4. dip your sponge in fabric paint
5. paint on the stencil and wait for it to dry
6. Remove stencil and oooh and aaahhh over what you have created
