Fry’s no-meat balls are one of my all time favourite vegan products and this spaghetti and “meatball” recipe makes it even yummier.
This is Rob’s recipe (as are most recipes in the house which require actual cooking) I’m more of a throw things together type girl.
Ingredients
1 red onion
1/4 green pepper
1 tbs crushed garlic
Olive oil
1 tin chopped tomato (we prefer garlic and oregeno flavour )
Fresh cilantro/coriander
1 box Frys no-meat ball
1 tbs honey/sugar
1 tbs smoked paprika
Half package of spaghetti
What you do
Heat olive oil and fry garlic
add onion, green pepper and cilantro
When those are browned add no-meatballs
When balls are cooked, season with smoked paprika and add tomatoes
Add honey or brown sugar (to counter tart tomatoes)
- prepare spaghetti
Serve
