Today I pray for…

not bad for bb pic hey 🙂

I’m currently way past exhausted I literally slept like a baby because I woke up hungry, tired and cranky. Think I need a bit of a break, just some time off to do nothing and guess what…I’m getting it, in four days I’m on staycation, like vacation, but not going anywhere (as girl Rob says). A week of waking up and doing stuff or not doing stuff – it’s up to me. (I’d prob opt for not doing stuff).
Think my exhaustion and need for a break comes from the fact that my life has been a bit hectic recently and I have a nasty habit of taking on other people’s problems.
I have been spending so much time worrying and so little time doing I have decided instead of fretting about things I can’t change (some things just are, I guess) I would just pray and give it over to a higher power . . . (some of the prayers are personal others just general)

So this morning I pray:
– For my mother in law who was in a terrible car crash where she lost two of her colleagues and cracked a bunch of ribs, she is currently out of town, sedated and waiting for a flight home, pray she recovers.
– For the husband who is stressed about his mother and who is moving to a new department at work this week, I pray he catches a break (goodness knows he deserves it).
– For friends and family who I can see are not being treated with the respect and love they deserve, I pray they will stop accepting second best.
– For myself and friends (you know who you are) I pray for financial security (doesn’t even have to be alarm system and rapid response security, lock and key for now would be fine too)
– For myself, I pray that all the self doubt and fear would be eliminated and that I receive the wisdom to make the right decisions in life.
– For the drought we are currently undergoing, even though it has been raining the dams are still emptying fast, I pray we get the much needed water.
– For the elections to go smoothly, I’ve already noticed the race card coming out and the finger pointing begin, I pray people would work for a better tomorrow and let yesterday spear them on, not hold them back.
– Included in these prayers is a big thank you because I’m a firm believer that:

“I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me”.
Philippians 4:13.
