So this weekend i didn’t do to much, but here are some pics anyway . . .
This year I decided to add a personal touch to every birthday gift I give out…my sister wanted money for her 19th (shes saving for a tattoo) but I wanted to add a lil something extra so i made a photo thingy for her room-yes photo thingy is a technical term:
The HOW TO pictures should be pretty self explanatory, and basically… I glued a photo strip of the two of us to blue card, added buttons to base and one as a “pin”. I then put the words sister love in gold and TADAH! a personal touch to her birthday present…already have thinking cap on for rest of the year’s gifts…

We went fabric shopping for baby room and this is what we came up with 🙂
We going for a nautical feel mostly because it was the only thing Rob and I could agree on. Thank goodness my mom sews because she will be able to make the duvet for bed (there is a extra bed in room) and cover feeding chair and even make curtains SCORE!

On a sad note, some family members lost everything in a fire this weekend 🙁
They survived with only the clothes on their backs…
