So Aidan touched a snake, met a dragon and gave a dino a dental check-up

So this weekend we visited BAYWORLD in Port Elizabeth as part of Kirsten’s birthday celebrations…she had a Dora the Explorer theme so her mom took her and her cousins (which includes Aidan) on an “adventure” to the BayWorld where she could “find Nemo” at the aquarium, “travel back in time” at the museum and “touch a real live snake” at the snake park.
Then we had a picnic at Happy Valley  where the kids could find their favourite cartoon characters while taking a walk… and they even had time to build sand castles. The kids LOVED it! happy birthday again little one 🙂

– On a less fun note, Aidan got sick last night, we couldn’t get his fever down and he refused to be out of my arms for a second. We took him to the emergency room (better safe than sorry) and this being his first time in the emergency room, and with our history I was very close to tears. But he proceeded to be a cute bubbly happy little kid. The nurse even said he was one of the best behaved little ones, letting them do tests while he just merrily investigated all around him. He even said the word Doctor to our surprise and thanked the nurses while waving bye. He is much better today, thank goodness 🙂

Our little brainiac, I know you shouldn’t label kids but this one is a smarty pants, not a label, an observation…you know Kirsten the vocal one year old from this post
She wouldn’t let anyone eat her face, hahaha. Reminds me of a story a friend told me that once at a party someone had a 3d Barney cake and when the mom cut into it the birthday child cried rivers because mom stabbed Barney
Aidan and my brother who he LOVES
Look who is all brave and holding a snake
I love the silliness that is this picture 🙂
Aidan might be a dentist one day, only thing he seemed to care about at dinosaur display was the teeth…Here he is showing his teeth with his dad
Aidan was the first one out of everyone to touch the snake…could be what spurred everyone on to do the same
More big teeth
What would an outing be without Aidan randomly laying down
My sister, Anthea, with a snake and family in background
Allister getting up close and personal with the snake
Aidan was sooooo excited to see the minions at Happy Valley
My little sand crab, this child and sand, I will never get it, he carries sand in his pockets people just because
Picnic time
Aidan’s favourite at the moment, Toothless from “How to train your dragon”
Also known as teethies in our house…told you he has a slight teeth obsession

I must admit I was kinda skeptical when my cousin suggested it… But it's actually been maintained well and was a nice outing – for safety sake go as a group though, just incase 🙂
