Egg-citing Easter events in Port Elizabeth this weekend

If you in Nelson Mandela Bay and are looking for something fun to do with the kiddies tomorrow, hunt no more (bad pun I know) There are a couple egg-citing events (last one I promise) happening in PE tomorrow….

The Annual Port Elizabeth Easter Egg Hunt is organised for the enjoyment of families in PE by City Lights Church : For God – For Good.

Registration at the venue (55 Alan Drive, Walmer Downs) will begin at 10.30am.

At registration you pay (R20 per child) and will issued with a colour coded wrist band.
These will correspond to the time your children will “Hunt” and the colour eggs they will be searching for. They work on a first come first served basis and ask that parents and children to patiently co-operate with times and instructions to ensure smooth running on the day.
The first hunt will run at 11.10am. Other hunts will run approximately every 20 minutes until 2.30pm. You are welcome to come any time within this window. ( The request that families consider car pooling as parking might get tight).

Families are welcome to bring picnic baskets and blankets and to stay and enjoy the park and other entertainment on offer.

A variety of food will be available to purchase at “the hunt’.

Although online registration for the event is now closed. They say that if you go down tomorrow (March 26) between 10.30am and 1.00pm they should be able to include you.
