My mom often jokingly says that the problem with me is, I grew up with a father that spoils me and ended up marrying a guy that does the same.
I tell her that is not a problem at all, just luck of the draw 😉
But in all seriousness I am extremely lucky to have two such wonderful men in my life.
I’ve always been the independent do my own thing type and I think I have been able to do that because my dad was always in my corner, I also have my brother and uncles and more recently my husband.
The reason for my soppiness this morning is this:
-I was exhausted last night and came home to bed made in front of the tv from where I could chat to Rob and watch him cook one of my favourite meals, he is always spoiling me like that (usually food related though so I’m starting to think he is a borderline chubby chaser). Then I dosed off and woke up to a clean kitchen and Rob coming home from dropping off a hot toddy with my mom because he was worried about her being in bed with flu for a few days.
-Then this morning I needed a lift to the train station and my dad who had clearly overslept due to flu meds got up out of bed and pulled on jeans over his pjs to chase the train with me.
