The whole family used Organics products for the month and let’s just say some products impressed way more than others.
When Beauty Bulletin asked me to join in the #TheOrganicsLife experiment and have the whole family only use Organics products for a month I was keen (yes partially because I wouldn’t have to buy hair products for the month, have you seen the amount of hair we are working with?) but also because flip I love a challenge… So we put the products to the test and this is what we found
Our Organics Products review….
Organics Hair Shampoo 2-in-1 Anti-dandruff
The moment Robs hair grows past a certain length he suffers from itchy scalp and flaking. We have bought all kinds of treatments and this shampoo works as well as the most expensive brands we have tried. So yes this one is going on the shopping list for sure at R49,99 for 400ml it’s crazy not to.
The product uses Organic Green Tea which is well known for its reviving and invigorating benefits.
Organics Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry & Damaged Hair
I am not a fan of the shampoo, it does not work with my hair type and leaves it feeling dry. But I let my sister use it and she likes it, I honestly just think my hair hates shampoo and I’m fine with it.
The conditioner seems to counter it thankfully and leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized. It also helps detangle which is always the most important thing on my list.
It has been repackaged and reformulated with ethically sourced, organic Shea Butter to help hydrate and repair your hair something I could definitely see in conditioner but even so it’s not for me even the low price of R27,99 each for 200ml, R49,99 each for 400ml and R76,99 each for 1L isn’t even really swaying me. My sister stole it though and loves it so I feel like it might go on her shopping list
Organics Hair Shampoo and Conditioner – Straight and Sleek
We used this on Caleb as his hair is most suited to the “straight and sleek” suggestion. It worked so well, soft and clean. His mom (the shampoo thief mentioned before) actually turned it into a 2 in 1 of short (less rinsing #waterrestriction #kidshatewashinghair). We found no product was needed after conditioning with this. Soft and detailed and really ready to go at R29,99 for 200ml and infused with Organic Argan this one needs to go on the list.
Organics Hair Shampoo Coconutty
This is an MVP around these parts. We have used it since the day Aidan graduated from baby products. It cleans nicely and it’s also dermatologist tested and is hypoallergenic, so I have always felt safe using it. The no-tears formula sure helps and so does the R54,99 price tag.
All in all, it was a pretty successful experiment and Organics products are pretty badass me thinks
