It’s World chocolate day (July 7) and that plus the fact that we celebrated Oreo covered in Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate just last week (It’s their birthday today) has my mind buzzing with simple gift ideas.
I love giving gifts and believe nothing says, “I care” like a package of the world’s most iconic cookie covered in chocolate then teamed with a little bit extra. Also that name is a mouthful so I’m calling it #Oreoenrobed from here on out.
Since the event last week was for bloggers I went with gifts for three blog genres…The lifestyle blogger, The food blogger, The mommy blogger and then a little shout-out to anyone under the weather, because everyone is under the weather right now….
This is how Aidan and my favourite cookie was gifted at the #Oreoenrobed first birthday party; a cookie jar filled with deliciousness paired with retro card games and birthday party treats:
For the lifestyle blogger:
I teamed the #Oreoenrobed with a beautiful mug, hand cream and a coffee
For the mommy blogger
I teamed the Oreo with a body lotion for mom, a lotion for baby and a parenting book
For the food blogger
I doubled up on the #Oreoenrobed and added a few cute baking utensils
For the friend under the weather
I teamed an uplifting book with some Zam-Buk chest rub, mohair socks and yummy Oreo cookies covered in chocolate

As #ECMeetup (Luchae and I) have been looking at ways to promote local influencers to brands and vice versa. So needless to say we were super chuffed to be asked to work with the Plato Communications team and celebrate Oreo Enrobed In Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate (as the Mondelez factory is right here in the Bay)…Here are some pics of the fun day:
