So Aidan had his first ever Baker’s man today. If your school does not do it , it is basically when kids are required to make a treat with their parents and then “sell it” at school. I had no idea what treat to make especially since Aidan is very selective when it comes to the snacks he eats, let alone creates.
The idea for confetti popcorn came from the fact that Aidan loves popcorn and sprinkles, but we needed something extra. This is what we came up with…
I was inspired by the confetti popcorn on this blog but wanted to add our own touch
How to make confetti popcorn
You will need:
- Popcorn
- White chocolate (not chocolate simply a confection for the purists)
- Sprinkles
- Mini marshmallows
- Cups
What you do
- Pop your popcorn, I used an air popper because it is just so easy but you can use the brown bag method, or any method really.
- Melt your chocolate
- Now layer… some popcorn, some chocolate, some marshmallows, more popcorn, more marshmallows and then more chocolate
- Put on sprinkles for a final touch
This is crazy easy to do and does not taste bad at all. I kept the portions small because we all have to watch that sugar intake but my taste testers at home loved it…
What is your go to for Baker’s man day at school?
