First things first… Is a one product routine even possible? Have I cut out some of my common sense when I cut my hair last week?

Well there’s been alot of talk on the natural hair forums about how we are throwing good money after bad with our natural hair product stashes… It made me look at the products I use and pick the holy grail…. Which one would give me a feasible one product routine…

Okay before you guys attack me, I know that not all products work the same for everyone. Even with my own hair I use differnt products depending on the look I’m going for.

If I want finger coils I pull out my Afrobotanics for Shiny locks. If I want big hair I use Aunt Jackie’s and BLM Naturals gives me definition. For refreshing there is even more BLM.

But what if I was away for a weekend and I forgot my products at home. I mean I already paid the equivalent of a down payment on a car on my stash which now sits lonely in the bathroom so I don’t want to hit the shops too hard.

Which product would I reach for?

In a one product routine I’d go for the Tresemme Botanique conditioner…. Jip, as simple as that. A teaspoon of bicarb in your conditioner turns it into a very practical cleanser. The conditioner itself is an awesome detangler and I have found that if I dilute it a little it makes a pretty good leave in.

I’ve reviewed it before but didn’t really see it’s use untill we went away for a weekend and somehow it was all I had packed.
