I have DIY gifts for you guys!
So this festive season I am challenging myself to blog everyday and post all kinds of festive like things…crafts, DIYs, tips, recipes…
Today I start with sharing some DIY’s I have done in the past that would make awesome gifts…here goes:
Let’s start with DIY gifts for the little ones, I made this dino/dragon hoodie for Aidan’s birthday and it is still a firm favourite. Technically I just bought the hoodie and sewed on some felt spikes, this is a true winner.
I love play dough, no one loves play dough as much as Aidan does though, it’s his little obsession. This is a link to various play dough variations from flu fighting to chocolate scented.
Throw some cutters in there and you have a great gift!
These boxing gloves are made from felt and make a cute addition to a dress up box or a sports themed costume, also super easy.
Yes it is a bit of felt overkill but felt is diy gift heaven man!
My friend Michelle showed us how to make super cute finger puppets, a super sweet stocking filler.
Why not whip up these paint markers for your budding picasso. Most moms would be thrilled that you are decreasing the mess a little.
We don’t get snow here in sunny South Africa, but you can still give your kids a snowball fight in a bag with this easy tutorial…A fun make while watching series craft.
These clay stars work as ornaments or as a decor gift for a child’s room. Just paint it to match the room.
There are many DIY gifts for the older people in your life, why not make a DIY games night kit?
The budding photographer in your life will love you forever if you make this scarf camera strap!
Last but not least, this laptop sleeve can be whipped up in 20 minutes, a quick but super practical gift
